  • Giving someone else a bath isn’t especially appealing, except perhaps with newborn children. In fact, it is often a chore! What does it say to you about Jesus that He was willing to get down and dirty, serving His disciples in this way?

  • Among the disciples whose feet Jesus washed was Judas Iscariot, the one who planned to betray Him. What does it tell you about Jesus that He was willing even to wash Judas’ feet?

  • While Jesus isn’t calling you to literally go around with water and a towel, washing other people’s feet, He is calling you to action. How can you humble yourself and serve the people He has placed in your life? Is there someone that comes to mind that you’d rather not serve right now? Why?
