  • By voluntarily paying the temple tax (even if through a miracle!), Jesus went out of His way to avoid causing unnecessary offense. What can you learn from this? Does it come easily to you?

  • Since the gift of salvation is entirely free, God expects nothing from you in return. However, you may have discovered that responding in generosity is the most natural thing to do. How do you feel when you gladly and freely give away some of what God has given you?
